01 / Search with context
Look past the first-year number.
Explore names and extensions alongside full upfront terms, registration and renewal estimates, premium status and applicable fees. Availability can change. Search results are not a reservation; the final confirmed quote defines the amount you authorize.
SEARCH ESTIMATES / FINAL QUOTE
02 / Confirm ownership
A name becomes yours through confirmation.
Review extension eligibility and registrant details, then wait for successful registrar confirmation of a registration. Keep contacts and ownership information correct. Adding a name to a bag or making a payment alone does not establish a confirmed registration.

03 / Connect the services
Your website and email share the address.
Use A and AAAA records for the relevant IP service, or a CNAME when a subdomain needs to point to another hostname. Preserve MX email routing and TXT verification records. Nameserver changes move DNS management, so copy and review the existing records before switching authority.
04 / Keep the portfolio
A dependable connection has a next date.
Review expiration dates, renewal settings, registrant contacts and available privacy options in your portfolio. Understand renewal and recovery costs before an expiry problem occurs. Review the controls enabled for your account, extension and registrar.
05 / Move with care
A transfer needs permission and the right timing.
Review the extension rules, current registrar status, applicable locks and authorization requirements before a transfer. Some generic domains have a 60-day transfer restriction. Keep the existing service working while you plan the move; transfer and DNS changes are separate decisions.
ELIGIBILITY / LOCKS / AUTHORIZATION
Public registration and account onboarding depend on the production release. Search estimates and illustrations do not establish a live quote, reserved name or confirmed registration.
